Carlos Naranjo is a writer, producer, and filmmaker passionate about creating compelling stories that blend suspense, emotion, and cultural heritage. He is the writer and executive producer of the upcoming short film Vestige and serves as co-producer and key production assistant on the upcoming short film VIFL (Virginia Is for Lovers).
He is also the author of the novel Diary of the Last Seed and has written numerous screenplays and short stories across the suspense, thriller, and supernatural genres. Carlos is currently developing Sombras de Borikén, an anthology inspired by Puerto Rican folklore that reimagines the island’s legends through atmospheric and character-driven storytelling.
In addition to his creative work, Carlos serves as Partnership Director for the Fredericksburg Film Festival, where he helps build relationships that support independent filmmakers and strengthen the region’s creative community. Whether writing, producing, or collaborating behind the scenes, he is committed to creating stories that entertain, connect, and leave a lasting impression.”
